Firm Profile
We are a General Practice Law Firm organized into departments: including Real Estate closings, Business Formation and Dissolution; Wills and Estate Planning; Land Use and Zoning; Debt Collection Law; Landlord Tenant disputes and Eviction; Probate Administration; and Civil and Commercial Litigation. Our staff includes three Attorneys, two conveyancing paralegals, two general paralegals, and one bookkeeper. Document production is fully computerized as is office billing and accounting. We have a twelve room office suite including private offices, law library, and closing/conference rooms.


Attorneys


ATTORNEY THOMAS A. GIBBONS graduated in 1995 from SUFFOLK UNIVERSITY LAW SCHOOL in Boston, Massachusetts with a J.D., Law degree and from STONEHILL COLLEGE in North Easton, Massachusetts in 1990 with a Bachelors Degree, Political Science. He also attended University College of Dublin, Ireland as part of the Stonehill College Exchange Program with a Minor Concentration degree in Irish Studies in 1988. Attorney Gibbons is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, New Hampshire Bar, and Connecticut. He is a member of the Northern Middlesex Bar Association as well as a Past President. Attorney Gibbons oversees all aspects of the Law practice with an emphasis on Residential and Commercial Real Estate conveyance, Land Use and Zoning.

ATTORNEY DARREN J. LANZA was raised and currently resides in the Fitchburg Leominster area. He graduated in 2004 from MASSACHUSETTS SCHOOL OF LAW in Andover, Massachusetts with a J.D., Law degree and from BABSON COLLEGE in Wellesley, Massachusetts with a B.S., Finance in 2001. He is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts. Attorney Lanza is also an active member of the Northern Middlesex Bar Association and recently joined BNI the Leominster Chapter. Attorney Lanza currently manages the Debt Collection, Landlord/Tenant, and Civil and Commercial Litigation departments.

ATTORNEY LISA ZAPALLA WOOD graduated in 2003 from SUFFOLK UNIVERSITY LAW SCHOOL in Boston, Massachusetts with a J.D., Law degree and from BOSTON UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES in 1997 with a B.A., International Relations. She is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Attorney Wood is a member of the Northern Middlesex Bar Association. Attorney Wood holds primary responsibility for the Forclosure and Estate Planning departments.

Areas of Practice


Real Estate: We perform residential and commercial closings for many local and national lenders. We can assist buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate from structuring an offer to negotiating the purchase and sale agreement and completing all aspects of the closing process
Debt Collection: We handle consumer and commercial debt collections. We can provide collection services on either a contingency fee or hourly fee basis. We accept claims of any amount including small claims in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Civil Litigation: We handle civil litigation including personal injury, contract disputes, and consumer protection matters. 
   
Landlord/Tenant:
WE represent landlords in eviction actions in housing and District Court. We also assist landlords with the preparation of leases and Tenant-at-Will agreements.
Business Representation: We assist clients with the formation of corporations, LLCs, LLPs, Partnerships and Trusts. We can help our clients with all aspects of corporate formation, maintenance, dissolution, and litigation.
Estate Planning: We can prepare a complete estate plan including wills, health care proxies, power of attorney, and declaration of homestead. We can also prepare trusts when appropriate for the estate plan.
Probate: We can prepare probate documents, and provide probate court representation for the administration of estates.
Land Use: We assist large land owners to single family home owners in all aspects of land use and municipal permitting including representation before town zoning and licensing boards and commissions.
